Home Health and Hospice Tabletop Exercise to be Held in NYC

The Home Care Association of New York State Education and Research (HCA E&R) is hosting an Emergency Preparedness Tabletop Exercise at no cost for Home Care and Hospice agencies as part of a series of activities funded by a grant from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH) Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response (OEPR).

 

This tabletop exercise will be held in-person on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 9:30am to 12:00pm at The Conference Center located at 130 E 59th Street (near Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10022.

Subject matter expert Pat Anders, former State Department of Health (DOH) Manager, Health Emergency Preparedness Exercises, Office of Health Emergency Preparedness, State Department of Health and Current Lead, NYSDOH Vaccine Confidence Workgroup, will lead the tabletop exercise on responding to a power outage.

Agencies that participate in the exercise can use it to meet their state and.or federal Emergency Preparedness exercise requirements.
