The Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2026 Medicare Hospice Payment Rate and Wage Index proposed rule, along with all other Medicare FFY payment rules, has cleared the Office of Management and Budget (OMB); we expect the proposed rule to be released very soon.

Once CMS issues the Hospice proposed rule, HCANYS will provide our members first with a summary of the major highlights via an e-alert followed by a more detailed policy memorandum later next week.
