DOH Posts CY 2023 Medicaid FFS Nursing Supervision and Nursing Assessment Rates for LHCSA Personal Care Providers

The New York State Department of Health’s (DOH) Bureau of Long Term Care Rate Setting has posted the Calendar Year (CY) 2023 Medicaid Fee-for-Service (FFS) Nursing Supervision and Nursing Assessment rates to eMedNY.

The updated rates will take effect in eMedNY in Medicaid Cycle 2492, with a check release date of June 11, 2025. DOH developed the CY 2023 FFS Nursing Supervision and Nursing Assessment rates based on the data submitted in the 2021 Medicaid cost reports.

The updated rates can also be accessed via the Health Commerce System (HCS).  Under “My Applications” within the HCS, select Healthcare Finance Data Gateway and then click on the Publications Tab. Under Organization Type, select “Personal Care” from the drop down menu; and then Under Collection, select “Personal Care Rate Reports” from the drop down menu.  Finally, Under Package, select the “2023 Post Review Rates” from the dropdown menu and then Under Organization, select your agency.
