DOH Provides Update on Last Capitation Payment in SFY 2025 for MCOs

As established in State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2019, the state Department of Health (DOH) has deferred the final monthly capitation payments to Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) to the first business day of the following SFY.   

The last MCO’s capitation payments in SFY 2025 would normally be disbursed on March 26th; however, with the continuation of this annual deferral, these payments will now be disbursed on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
