DOH to Host NY Nursing Summit

Last week, the Department of Health announced that it is hosting a Stakeholder Summit on New York State’s Nursing Workforce on June 9th in Albany. HCANYS strongly encourages our members to send key members of your team to this free event. It presents a unique opportunity to bring visibility to the key roles that nurses play in the home health and hospice setting that are often unseen. It is equally important to share the challenges of recruiting, training and retaining quality nurses in today’s operating environment.
