EEO-1 Report Filing Deadline Next Week

The 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 data collection cycle opened May 20, 2025. The deadline for submitting the required report is June 24, 2025. The collection period will not extend beyond the Tuesday, June 24, 2025 “Published Due Date” deadline.

Additionally, beginning with the 2024 EEO-1 Component 1 data collection, all communications sent to filers will be electronic. No notifications about the 2024 collection will be sent to filers via postal mail. To meet this deadline, the EEOC strongly encourages eligible filers to begin the filing process as soon as possible.The EEOC is permitting companies to choose a workforce snapshot from October 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. As a reminder, employers meeting the following requirements must file and EEO-1 report each year:

  1. private employers with 100 or more employees;
  2. federal contractors with 50 or more employees; and
  3. private employers with less than 100 employees who are affiliated through centralized control/ownership with other entities and when combined have 100 or more employees.
