The American Medical Association and CDC partners are offering a learning opportunity to ensure healthcare professionals are updated on the current measles outbreak and prepared to respond. Measles on the Rise: How to Prepare and Respond in Your Clinic was presented on May 15 and is now available for replay.

Learning Objectives
1. Describe current trends in measles epidemiology
2. Recognize, identify and appropriately test for measles in patients presenting with measles signs and symptoms
3. Explain how vaccination protects against measles and prevents transmission
4. Learn how to prepare your clinic for a case of measles
5. Describe infection prevention strategies for measles in health care settings

According to the Department of Health, there are currently six cases in New York City and six in New York State outside of NYC (Rest of State) for seven total. HCANYS encourages providers to watch the complimentary training. 0.75 CME Credits are available.
