NGS Closed in Observance of Fourth of July 2025

National Government Services (NGS), New York’s principal home health and hospice Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC), will be closed on Friday, July 4 in observance of the Fourth of July.

Electronic data interchange (EDI) claim files transmitted after 5:00 p.m. ET on July 3, 2025 will have a claim receipt date of July 7, 2025. EDI front-end acknowledgement transactions will be created as expected as EDI claim files are received.

The Fiscal Intermediary Standard System Direct Data Entry (FISS/DDE) Provider Online System will be available during normal business hours. While FISS/DDE will be available, there will be no support available to respond to any issues.

Providers will also be able to access NGSConnex and use the interactive voice response (IVR) system.

NGS’ offices will reopen on Monday, July 7, 2025 for normal business hours. HCANYS will keep you further apprised of any schedule changes.
