NGS Update on Provider Contact Center

National Government Services (NGS), New York’s principal home health and hospice Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC), has announced that effective May 1, 2025, their Provider Contact Center (PCC) will service one PTAN/NPI combination per call.
Before calling NGS’s PCC, providers should ensure that they have all authentication details ready: Provider Transaction Account Number (PTAN), National Provider Identifier (NPI), last 5-digits of the Tax ID, as well as the beneficiary information from the relevant claim you are questioning including Beneficiary Last Name, First Initial, and Dates of Service (DOS).
