OMIG to Host In-Person Health Care Provider Engagement Forum on June 25
The Situation Report | June 23, 2025
The New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) will host an in-person health care provider engagement forum this Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Erie County Community College in Buffalo, N.Y., regarding the agency’s Medicaid program integrity efforts.
During the session, OMIG’s Acting Medicaid Inspector General Frank T. Walsh, Jr., First Deputy Medicaid Inspector General Erin Ives, Deputy Medicaid Inspector General for Audit Michael D’Allaird, and Assistant Medicaid Inspector General for the Division of Compliance and Self-Disclosure Amanda Susser will provide key updates related to Medicaid audits and audit protocols, compliance program reviews, self-disclosure trends and best practices, and the agency’s ongoing outreach and education efforts. Much of the forum will be devoted to an interactive Q&A session with onsite participants and those joining online.
As seating is limited, in-person attendance is available on a first-registered, first-served basis. A virtual option is also available.
Providers interested in submitting input, questions, or recommendations prior to the session are encouraged to complete OMIG’s Health Care Provider Engagement Forum Feedback Form.
Registration is avaiable here.
