The Situation Report | June 2, 2025
In April, the New York eHealth collaborative (NYeC) announced the launch of the Statewide Common Participation Agreement (SCPA) for the Statewide Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY). NYeC is the statewide administrator of the SHIN-NY.
Upon release of the SCPA, HCANYS worked with NYeC officials to arrange an explanatory session for HCANYS members to walk through the new SCPA and help guide member participation. This special free webinar explaining the SCPA is being held this Wednesday, June 4 from 10-11 am, and will also cover other aspects of the amended Department of Health (DOH) regulation prompting the SCPA’s introduction.
This will be an improtant opportunity to learn about the new agreement and get your questions answered!
All NYS DOH regulated entities, including Article 36 agencies, will need to sign the SCPA by September 30, 2025.*
